Internet Literacy Workshop

Each new student will be required to demonstrate basic Internet computer skills including use of campus e-mail, network browser, listserv functions, FTP and CD-ROM library searches from remote locations.  Other skills may be required to remain current with use of the internet.

Proficiency may be demonstrated by attending an Internet Literacy Workshop consisting of 3 one-hour sessions offered during the first three weeks of class.  The 3 one-hour workshop sessions will be held during the evening hours.  Failure to complete this requirement will result in the student's permit to enroll being held until the required skills are demonstrated.

For additional information, the student should contact their Faculty Advisor or the Department Secretary.

 

General Education Requirements for Transfer Students

Transfer students who transfer to Kansas State University from accredited two-year or four-year institutions are required to complete a minimum number of University General Education credit hours at Kansas State University.  the minimum number of University General Education credit hours required is based upon total number of completed transfer credit hours accepted at K.S.U. as shown below:

Each transfer student is required to complete a minimum of six credit hours of KSU upper division University General Education courses (300 and above) as specified in the program in which they will graduate.

Any Agriculture student who has completed 8 or more transfer credit hours that are accepted at K.S.U. is not required to meet the multiple category requirement described in the college of Agriculture General Education Policy.
