*Internship Opportunities:*

We have developed an internship here at Boulevard Gardens. I wanted to know if anyone would be interested at KSU. Also we are
currently looking for a maintenance manager to run our maintenance division, if anyone is interested, email me and I can get them
some more information.

Golf Course Internship:

Our Student interns will be exposed to all aspects of our golf course maintenance operation. Duties will include but are not limited
to mowing, calibration and application, irrigation, course set-up, bilingual interaction and day to day problem solving. Interns will be
exposed to budgeting and crew management as well. Interns will be expected to work between 45- 60 hours a week. The energy
and desire to meet this schedule is a must.

The Stock Farm Club is located in Western Montana in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. The Club sits on 400 pristine acres in the
middle of a 21,000 acre working cattle ranch. We have a million dollar plus budget and try very hard to stay on the cutting edge
of technology to maintain Charles Schwab’s private club. We take great pride in our entire facility and want our interns too as well.

*Position: *Summer Internships and Full Time Employment
(Positions available for 2^nd assistant, irrigation and spray technicians)
*Course Name: *The Links at Lighthouse Sound
*Course Info: *An eighteen-hole championship golf course designed by Arthur Hills in 1999. The course is located between the
St. Martin’s River and Assawoman Bay. Greens built as California-style, L-93 bentgrass, PennCross bentgrass tees,
L-93/Southshore bentgrass fairways, and Kentucky Bluegrass/tall fescue rough.
*Duties: *These individuals will work daily with the superintendent, assistant superintendent, and other course staff to assist in the management, completion, and planning of tasks. Individuals must be willing to assume a leadership role among the staff and will become familiar with all areas of the assistant and superintendent responsibilities. They will be responsible for chemical, fertilizer, and soil amendment applications. Other skills that will be acquired include, calibration of sprayers and spreaders, disease identification, irrigation repair, daily assignment scheduling, record-keeping, budgeting, and inventory management. Other areas of responsibility may include mowing, course setup, hand watering and syringing of greens, tees, fairways, and rough.

CITY OF WINFIELD

*ASSISTANT GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT*: For Quail Ridge, an 18-hole municipal golf course. Responsibilities include: assists in planning, directing and supervising maintenance of golf course and related facilities.
Desirable qualifications include a combination of education & experience equivalent to an Associate Degree in Agronomy or a field in turf management, plus two years of experience in golf course and greens maintenance; must have a or acquire a EPA Pesticide Applicator’s Permit within one year of employment.
Salary range: $11.82 - $15.86 hourly, with excellent benefits.
