Landscape Technician

Internship Program:
Our internship program is geared towards college students in a Horticulture or
Landscape Management/Architecture program. Students will gain hands-on
experience in the landscape industry. You will be able to rotate between
our three divisions: Design/Build, Grounds Maintenance/Plant Health Care, and
Irrigation/Lighting --giving you a broad range of practical experience.
Program Dates:
12-week program from June to mid-August
Pay:
$10.00/hr
Housing Assistance: R&S will contribute 1/3 of housing expenses for the intern.
Benefits:
Uniform, including weekly cleaning by R&S, transportation to/from housing
and R&S office. Hand tools, safety equipment (goggles, car protectors,
gloves_ supplies by R&S -- to be returned at the end of the internship or
fee paid.
Eligibility:
Students must be enrolled in a horticulture or landscape program and have two
recommendations from a professor or faculty advisor. Application Deadline
is April 15, 2004. Submit recommendations with a recent transcript,
plus a short summary on what you expect to accomplish during your internship

Landscape Specialist - Irrigation
Design Irrigation Systems: RHA is a design-build residential landscape construction company. Our projects include both new and upgraded irrigation systems. The Irrigation Specialist will work with landscape designers to create irrigation systems for gardens. This position includes specification of materials, location plans, management of the timely delivery of materials, and supervision of the installation process.
Work Well with others: An Irrigation Specialist will relate well to supervisors and fellow workers. Most of the work will be at the customer's home or on personal property. The position is expected to be respectful to customers at all times. An Irrigation Specialist is expected to work hard, and to strive to learn from other team members.
Maintain Quality Standards: The Irrigation Specialist will build irrigation systems that supports the total landscape and provides the proper amount of moisture for a beautiful garden. This position will seek to design and install irrigation systems that are easy for the customer to manage, that are water conserving, and that are economically installed.
